All To The Glory of God!
Dear Holly Grove Christian School Families,
I pray you have had a restful and refreshing summer. As the summer break comes to a close, we look forward with great anticipation to the start of a new school year. Last year, Holly Grove Christian School celebrated 50 years of Christ-centered education. We give thanks to God for His faithfulness throughout the decades and trust in His continued blessings in the years ahead.
Our guiding theme for the 2026–2027 school year is "All to the Glory of God." This theme is based on 1 Corinthians 10:31–33:
“So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God. Give no offense to Jews or to Greeks or to the church of God, just as I try to please everyone in everything I do, not seeking my own advantage, but that of many, that they may be saved.”
This year, our focus will be on honoring God in everything we do. Our Board of Directors will make decisions to the glory of God. Our administration will lead to the glory of God. Our faculty and staff will plan, teach, and serve to the glory of God. Our students will study diligently, participate enthusiastically, compete honorably, and conduct themselves in a manner that brings glory to God. If we keep this purpose at the center of all we do, I believe we will experience a truly successful and rewarding school year.
In addition to the continued progress on our new building project, we are excited to share several significant campus improvements that were completed over the summer. These include updated Promethean ActivPanels in both our lower and upper school classrooms, as well as a brand-new sound system in our gymnasium that will greatly enhance the many programs and events held in that space. I am incredibly grateful to our Grandparents Association, Athletic Boosters, Parent-Teacher Fellowship, and several Christian foundations whose generous support made these upgrades possible. Our facilities have also received fresh paint and carpet in select classrooms and the elementary hallway. Special thanks go to Mr. Joe Hubbs, Adam Svatos, Josh White, and our student workers for their hard work and dedication in preparing our campus for the new school year.
We are pleased to welcome new staff members and celebrate some internal transitions:
· Mr. Robert “Bob” Boyce – Lower School Principal
· Mrs. Chloe Dize - Art Teacher
· Mrs. Donna Behe - 4th through 6th Music Teacher
· Mr. Daniel Medica – High School History Teacher
· Mrs. Emily Larmore – College/Career Counselor (formerly high school history teacher)
· Mrs. Amanda Bromley - High School Science (formerly 4th - 6th music teacher)
Once again, I want to thank you for choosing Holly Grove Christian School for the important task of educating and training your child. Amid uncertain economic, social, cultural and spiritual times, the value of a Christ-centered education is more apparent than ever. At Holly Grove, our mission is to partner with you in raising students who live God-honoring lives and pursue academic excellence with Christ at the center.
I encourage each of our families to embrace the theme of the 2026–2027 school year: "All to the Glory of God." May we work together to keep Christ at the center of all we do, honoring Him through our words, actions, attitudes, and service to others. Thank you for your continued trust and support. I look forward to a wonderful school year and all that God has in store for Holly Grove Christian School.
